On January 21, 2025, minority entrepreneurs and small business owners gathered at the Army-Navy Club in Washington, D.C., for an event dedicated to supporting small business growth through federal contracting opportunities. Rebecca Contreras, founder and CEO of AvantGarde LLC, moderated an expert panel discussion focusing on strategies for effectively marketing to the federal government. The session provided attendees with advice on positioning their businesses for success in the federal marketplace. Drawing from her vast experience in government and entrepreneurship, Rebecca highlighted strategies and practical tips to help small business owners navigate federal contracting processes with confidence.
As a sponsor of this impactful event and itself a successful graduate of the SBA 8(a) program, AvantGarde LLC reaffirmed its commitment to empowering small businesses and advancing diversity in entrepreneurship. Special thanks to Roger Campos, CEO of the Minority Business RoundTable (MBRT), for his leadership in organizing this meaningful gathering and advocating for minority entrepreneurs nationwide.
